TEAM TENNIS
USTA Team Tennis headlines the Green Tree adult tennis programs. Both mens and ladies USTA teams are well represented:

• Saturday Ladies 2.5, 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5
• Saturday Men 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5
• Mixed Doubles 6.0,7.0, 8.0 & 9.0

Green Tree also participates in city specialty tournaments such as "Combo" and "Tri-Level" .

INSTRUCTIONAL CLINICS & WORKOUTS
for men and women are available at all levels of play.

For the Ladies:

• Monday evenings 7-8:30 pm 4.5 level
• Wednesday evenings 7-8:30 pm All levels.
• Thursday mornings 9:30-11 am – 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0 levels.
• Beginning Ladies Clinics – please call for days and times.

NOTE: In the summer time, the club's tennis staff runs a very popular ladies clinic from 9-10:30 am on Saturday mornings.

For the Men:

• Monday night men's workout 7-8:30 pm 3.0,3.5,4.0 & 4.5 level players.
  Players are grouped by skill level.

Head Tennis Professional, Eric Romasanta, USPTA and Green Tree’s tennis staff run this popular workout throughout the year. It is a great time to work on your game and get in a good physical workout!

In all of our adult clinics & workouts, players are grouped by skill level with approximately four players per tennis professional. We welcome new players to the game!!

GREEN TREE'S CLUB LEAGUES
are quite popular and open to players of all levels.

• Mixed Doubles Tuesday evenings at 6:30 and
  8:00 p.m. All levels
  
• Ladies Doubles  Wednesday evenings 7:00 pm All levels
  
• Men's Doubles  Thursday evenings at 6:30 and
  8:00 p.m. All levels

The club leagues run in the fall,spring and summer seasons. Players are grouped by skill level.  Formats include progressive and round robin play.

USTA TEAM TENNIS at Green Tree!  
At Green Tree, we LOVE team tennis!  Tennis Director, Courtney P. Mayer, USPTA and Head Tennis Professional, Eric Romasanta, USPTA are actively involved in all aspects of USTA team tennis. We all enjoy very much the journey of building and developing Green Tree teams from the 2.5 level and up!

TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE
Green Tree has a tradition of excellence in city wide competition and 2011 is no exception. Green Tree USTA Teams won three city titles!

• Mixed 9.0 Doubles Team
• Senior 4.5 Ladies Team
• Ladies 2.5 Team
• Men's 4.0 Team

Congratulations are in order to the players and their captains: Patti Stevenson, Courtney P. Mayer, Greg Maxey and Diana Garcia. Way to go!

Green Tree had five other teams advancing to city playoffs in 2011:

• Men's 3.5, 4.0 & 4.5 Teams

Congratulations to Mike Gavito & Danielle Tumblin on leading their mixed 8.0 team to the city finals; Courtney P. Mayer whose 4.5 senior ladies team won city handedly and had a strong showing at sectionals; and to Henry Robles, Greg Maxey and Brian Randall on advancing their 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 teams respectively to city playoffs!
